Fine & Performing Arts

Fine Arts education at Carmel Catholic is a hands-on educational experience. It is experienced physically, vocally, emotionally and creatively. The fine arts foster an environment conducive to creative development. A strong work ethic, sense of community, confidence and self-esteem is developed through these courses. Our overall goal is for students to enrich their creative, social, academic and spiritual development.

The Fine Arts Department offers a four-year program in choral music, band, dance, dramatic and visual art instruction. This program is constantly evolving and has something of interest to every student.

Carmel Catholic recently completed a new and innovative 33,000 sq. ft. Fine and Performing Arts Center, which features:

• Classrooms and practice rooms for vocal and instrumental students
• Dance studio
• Black box theater
• Mac computer lab
• Visual arts studios
• Ceramics studio
• Art gallery
• Darkroom photography lab
