Study/Volunteer Abroad Opportunities

The world language department is excited to promote our fourth year of study/volunteer abroad! After a very successful first three years with nearly 60 students participating, we will be providing travel opportunities to Spain, France, and Costa Rica. Carmel Catholic is partnering with International Studies Abroad (ISA)/Worldstrides to offer these three opportunities this summer.

WHAT AN ISA/WORLDSTRIDES TRIP CAN DO FOR YOU

Students participating in the Spain program will attend classes sponsored by a local university and receive a transcript and college credit. Students traveling to Costa Rica will volunteer in a local community; students will receive enough service hours to satisfy an entire semester of Christian Service hours at Carmel Catholic. Students traveling to France will participate in language and cultural classes throughout their trip.

NEW THIS YEAR- AIRFARE INCLUDED

AFTER APPLICATION

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • There will be one Carmel Catholic teacher for every nine students that attend.
  • These trips are not sponsored by Carmel Catholic High School, but rather by ISA/Worldstrides. This means that Carmel Catholic teachers are an extra layer of comfort for students and parents on top of what ISA/Worldstrides already provides (a full-time staff of professionals who work to ensure a safe and enriching experience for your student).
