N.Y.A.N. Robotics Team Wins World Championship

Carmel Catholic High School is proud to announce the world championship success of N.Y.A.N. Robotics, a Carmel Catholic High School Varsity Robotics Team, that had a long successful season, advancing from division/regional playoffs and the Illinois state championship, ultimately to the world championship on April 28.

Third Student Achieves Perfect ACT Score This School Year

A third student has earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36 this school year. In November it was announced that Ainsley Dean '20 earned a composite score of 36, and in March it was announced that Benjamin Geoffroy ' 20 also received a perfect score. The third student wishes to remain anonymous.

Students Win Big at Mayor's Cup STEM Challenge

Math and engineering students competed in the Mundelein Mayor's Cup STEM Challenge on March 17, which allows Mundelein students to showcase their STEM skills, earn cash awards and have fun in the process.

Two Students Selected as National Merit Finalists

Patrick Delos Reyes '19 and Patricia Freeman '19 have reached the "finalist" step in the National Merit Scholarship Program. These students will continue on with the hopes of earning the Merit Scholar title and winning a National Merit Scholarship.

New International Student Program to be Launched for 2019-20 School Year

Carmel Catholic High School students have even greater opportunity to build cross-cultural understanding with the introduction of a new international student program. Working in conjunction with Amerigo Education, the international program will allow students from around the world to integrate into the Carmel Catholic community.
