Marissa Pagano '23 Places 6th in Nation in Stock Market Writing Competition

The Stock Market Game connects students to the global economy with virtual investing and real-world learning.

It is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students grades 4-12 in the world of economics, investing and personal finance and that has prepared nearly 20 million students for financially independent futures.

InvestWrite is a national essay competition that serves as a culminating activity for Stock Market Game students.

The award presented by Randy Hultgren, president and CEO of the Illinois Bankers Association, and Debbie Jemison, Financial Literacy Director of the Illinois Bankers Association, on April 20 at Carmel Catholic High School.

During the fall semester, Carmel Catholic High School students in Finance & Investment Honors classes came in first place as a team in the state of Illinois in the Stock Market Game.
