Ed Roncone has known the meaning of hard work ever since he was a teenager, going door to door in the Antioch neighborhood where he grew up to mow lawns for extra money. Today, it’s the streets of Libertyville that Ed helps to oversee, keeping them safe as chief of police while supervising a team of investigators and first responders.
“Baseball starts with just having fun playing with your friends, and the competitiveness grows out of that,” Milazzo said. “I want them to have fun hitting a baseball really hard and have them feel that experience."
Hard working, attention to detail, compassionate, dependable. Those are important traits that Libertyville Fire Chief Rich Carani has lived by during his 30+ years of service as a first responder in the Libertyville community where he both lives and works.
