Since 1962, the Blessed Titus Brandsma Chapel has welcomed generations of Carmel Catholic students who have encountered Christ in Word and Sacrament. Please join us in our efforts to enhance the natural beauty of our chapel. Our intention is to preserve the tradition of this place, and reflect the legacy of our founders, while creating a timeless aesthetic worthy of the celebration of the Eucharist.

The Carmel Ad Book is a comprehensive listing of businesses that support our school. During this COVID-19 crisis, proceeds from the Ad Drive and Street Scenes event will assist families by keeping tuition as low as possible.

Alumni Feature: Jay Sharp '91

Among the many Carmel alumni on the front lines of the pandemic is Dr. Jay Sharp ’91. He is currently an Emergency Room physician at Amita Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Jay has found this time to be challenging and a test of his skills and training.

In the 96-year history of WGN Radio, there has never been a female in the top job...until now. Mary Sandberg Boyle ’94 is VP and general manager of WGN Radio.

Alumni Feature: Mike Belmont ‘77

Mike Belmont ’77’s connection to Carmel Catholic remains strong. Mike’s brother, Frank, was a staple in Carmel history as a teacher, head boys basketball coach and Athletic Director. Sadly, Frank passed away in April of 2016. Mike decided to make a very generous donation and started the Frank Belmont Memorial Scholarship in honor of his brother.

New Cardinal is Former CCHS Teacher

On October 25, Pope Francis named 13 new cardinals, including Washington D.C. Archbishop Wilton Gregory — the first Black U.S. prelate. Archbishop Gregory taught at Carmel when he was a seminarian in the early 70s. The prayers of the Carmel Catholic community are with you, Cardinal Gregory!

Memorial Mass Held Virtually in November

The annual Memorial Mass, sponsored by the Carmel Catholic Alumni Association, streamed virtually on November 7. Alumni and loved ones of those in the Carmel family who passed away during the previous year were remembered by name.
