Carmel Catholic senior Izzy Bing finished 8th in the IHSA Class 2A Girls Track & Field 3200 Meter State Championship event, posting a time of 10:57.63 to capture her second-straight medal in the IHSA Girls Track & Field State Finals! Bing leaves Carmel as one of the most decorated distance runners in school history, having broken more than 25 Girls Cross Country and Girls Track records, being named to the ESCC All-Conference Team for four-consecutive years, finishing 6th in the 2024 IHSA Girls Track & Field 1-Mile Run, leading the 2024 Cross Country team to the IHSA State Finals for the first time in school history, and earning recognition as a 2025 Carmel Catholic High School Athlete of the Year.
