Athletic Media Credential Request

Media Credential Policy

Carmel Catholic High School reserves the sole right to issue media credentials for its home sporting events, and for access to our teams at away sporting events. Credentialing priority is given to media outlets with an established history of professional coverage, including:

Wire services
Newspapers
Television stations
Radio stations
Magazines
School press
Online media

Due to the volume and range of requests for credentials from media outlets, all requests are subject to review by the Carmel Catholic Athletic Office, with an emphasis placed on granting credentials to outlets that demonstrate a history of athletic coverage deemed:

Newsworthy
Accurate
Balanced
Respectful
Age-appropriate
Mindful of impact
Timely

All athletic media credential requests must be reviewed and approved; only those granted will receive a response. In addition, credentials do not guarantee access, are only for the event and date listed, are non-transferable, and may be revoked at any time, for any reason.
