Fifth Student Earns Top ACT Composite Score

Isabella Pagano '22 is the fifth Carmel student to recently earn the highest possible ACT composite score of 36, joining Lauren Kelley '21, William DeKeyser '21, Kyle Heinz '21 and Matthew Wolf '21.

Free Meals for Children and Teens

This program is available for all children and teens 18 years of age and under, including Carmel students, children of faculty and staff, and community members. This program is open to all families looking to save a little extra on their grocery bill.

Robotics Teams Advance to Regionals

Our three robotics teams competed virtually in league competition this past weekend. All three teams have advanced to the regional competition, which will be held virtually in early March.

Academic Challenge Teams Advance in Competition

Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science teams competed early in February. The varsity ACES team moves on to sectionals in March. At large competitors achieved individual awards in several areas.

Carmel Students Take Part in Umoja For Black Lives, Justice and Peace

During the month of February, Carmel students will participate in We Are Called: Umoja For Black Lives, Justice and Peace along with other Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Umoja, which means Unity, is the first principle of Kwanzaa. This month-long event will allow us to pray and reflect on different issues pertaining to this theme.

Victoria Nagode '22 Earns Honorable Mention in Midwest Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Congratulations to junior Victoria (Tori) Nagode for her Honorable Mention in the Midwest Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. This distinction is only awarded to the top 10-15% of all entries in this extremely competitive contest. Tori's submission is a digital art portrait titled "Jamais Vu." She will be recognized in a virtual Scholastic Awards Celebration on March 7.

Most Valuable Corsairs Named

We have continued our tradition of awarding select students with an "MVC" (Most Valuable Corsair) award during Catholic Schools Week, February 1-5. These are students who exemplify the values of Carmel Catholic High School through their actions at school and in their community.
