Class of 1967 Legacy Scholarship

Creating the Class of 1967 Legacy Scholarship was an endeavor started with the class committee for the 50-year reunion in 2017. With the goal of $25,000, they worked toward an endowed scholarship fund. Once established, a student in need of tuition assistance would receive a one-year scholarship to help their family afford the amazing educational opportunities, faith-filled education, extracurricular programs, and the competitive edge that Carmel Catholic provides.

The initial goal of $25,000 was reached in the spring of 2020. The Class of 1967 is the first class to pursue and reach this lofty goal, which potentially will begin to be awarded for the 2021-22 academic year. Continued donations will only help in increasing the impact that this scholarship will make.Your generosity and investment in this fund helps students eager to attend Carmel. Thanks to Class of 1967 Legacy Scholarship Committee: Margie Foley-Matthews, Mike Gavigan, Margaret Steffenhagen-Janiszewski and Eileen Welsh.
