Carmel Catholic's College & Career Prep Day on October 7 offered students a valuable opportunity to take ownership of their college search and prepare for the next steps in their postsecondary journey. Seniors could use the morning to visit a college campus independently or stop by Carmel for personalized support from our counseling team. Sophomores and Juniors sat for standardized testing, while freshmen learned more about potential career paths (pictured left).
The Class of 2027 received help with a variety of college planning tasks, including college applications, essays, college lists, and the Common Application (pictured right). Many students took advantage of these resources and stayed well beyond the scheduled time to ask questions and work through their next steps.
The momentum continued the following day with a field trip to Marquette University, where 36 students and four chaperones had the opportunity to experience the campus firsthand.
Together, these experiences reflect Carmel’s commitment to helping students navigate the college search with confidence, take initiative, and make informed decisions about what comes next.
