Programs supported by the 2010-2011 Annual Fund
The gift of a Carmel Catholic education is made possible in part due to the financial generosity of our dedicated supporters such as yourself. Carmel Catholic High School’s Annual Fund Campaign – “One Goal-One School-One Community” is a great way for you to share our common vision of providing the gift of a Carmel Catholic education to more students - our present and future generations. By giving to the Annual Fund, you provide Carmel with the greatest financial flexibility to support our mission and our most critical needs.
As we build upon our track record of excellence, we reiterate our commitment to enhance academic programming, upgrade our equipment and facilities, and support our faculty’s professional development. To these ends, funds raised through the Annual Fund enable us to:
- Install 32 LCD projection systems in classrooms for efficient sharing and delivery of information to students.
- Provide tablet personal computers for each faculty member as an effective classroom instructional tool.
- Develop and offer a new array of elective courses that stimulates students as part of a challenging college preparatory curriculum.
- Enhance our curricular offerings through the Understanding by Design (UbD), an educational planning tool that enhances and deepens students critical thinking skills, technology use, Catholic Identity, and course integration.
- Keep tuition more affordable than many other Catholic high schools in the Chicago area
