We invite your family to explore the value of a Carmel Catholic education by attending any of our upcoming Admissions programs.
Explore our sprawling 55-acre campus by registering for a guided tour, led by a member of the Carmel Catholic admissions team. Journey through the halls that have welcomed generations of Corsairs, and receive an insider's look at the future of the Carmel Catholic campus. Campus tours are offered weekly on Wednesdays at 8 am and 11:45 am. All visitors must register in advance as attendance is limited. Prospective students spend a day on campus alongside a current Carmel Catholic student as they immerse themself in our community, attend classes, and witness the joy and friendship that permeate through our hallways.
 
Who Can Visit With Us?
During the fall semester, the Shadow Day program is open to 8th grade students as well as prospective high school transfer students entering grades 9, 10 and 11. Starting in January, 7th grade students are welcome to shadow. 
 
What Should I Expect?
Visiting students will interact with their future classmates and teachers as they trace an academic schedule, and will enjoy a complimentary lunch from the cafeteria. Shadow Days are be offered on most school days and are held from 7:45 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Please register online at least two school days in advance.
 
Who Will My Child Shadow?
You have two options – request a specific student as your child's guide, or provide us with some of your child's interests and we will pair them up with a wonderful student guide.
 
How do I Schedule a Visit?
Parents must register their child online at least two school days in advance of their preferred visit date.
The Carmel Catholic High School entrance exam is offered to 8th grade students who have not tested at any other Catholic high school within the Archdiocese of Chicago. Prospective students will complete the High School Placement Test (HSPT), the results of which will be used for admission to Carmel Catholic; initial course placement in math, science, and English; and merit scholarship consideration.

As a Catholic institution, Carmel Catholic is committed to making a college preparatory education available to all who wish to share in our mission. To assist prospective families, we invite parents to attend a financial aid seminar, where information regarding the cost of attendance and financial assistance will be presented. Experience Carmel Catholic at Open House, held each year in November. During your visit, you will take a student-led tour of our campus as you learn more about our innovative programming that guides and supports individual pursuits while challenging students to embrace all they can become. Interacting with countless Carmel Catholic community members along the way, you will see firsthand the pride and enthusiasm of our students, faculty, staff and families.
