The Carmel Athletic Club provides support in a variety of ways to help ensure that every student-athlete across the school’s 24 athletic programs have the equipment, facilities and general support necessary to foster their continuing development and success. The Carmel Athletic Club provides this support through several primary activities, including membership contributions, spirit wear and concessions sales and special events such as the annual Pro Football Championship Party. These and other activities help promote involvement from fellow students, parents, alumni and the broader Carmel community that contributes to a vibrant and positive environment for the student-athletes to compete.
ATHLETIC PROGRAM SUPPORT
In addition to general capital projects that the Carmel Athletic Club funds, each varsity head coach is invited to submit “wish-list” requests for items that are needed to enhance the experience for student-athletes who compete in a particular sport. Over the past five years, the Carmel Athletic Club has raised and allocated over $250,000 for the purchase of uniforms and equipment for training and competition, items to help improve athletic facilities such as new scoreboards, storage facilities and maintenance equipment, and to cover expenditures that exceed team allocations from the Athletic Department budget, such as rentals of private, off-campus indoor training facilities.
