Parent Organizations
Carmel Catholic High School considers family involvement in the life of the school to be essential. Below are a list of the organizations which facilitate parental involvement. Please consider getting involved!
Athletic Boosters' Club
The Carmel Boosters' Club promotes athletic endeavors by volunteering to assist in hosting various events at the school. Through their generous efforts, approximately $15,000 is contributed to the athletic programs of our school each year.
CCCA (Carmel Catholic Council for the Arts)
The CCCA is a unified, organized, parent support group, made up of parent volunteers from all four Arts disciplines at Carmel Catholic and for all four Arts disciplines. This group will support students and the teachers so that student's dreams and goals in the Arts can be realized more fully.
Parents' Club
The Parents' Club of Carmel Catholic High School serves as hospitality volunteers for many of the school's significant activities including: Parent Orientation, Open House, Ring Ceremony and student award ceremonies. All Carmel Catholic parents are welcome to participate in this "ministry of welcome." The Parents' Club asks for a $10 donation to help defray the hospitality costs. P.I.N. (Parents In Network)
This is a parent group who work together to create and support programs directed towards education that provides and supports a drug free environment. It is also a support group for parents who choose to sponsor and encourage drug free programs for their teens.
Volunteer Teachers Assistance Program
To assist the faculty in maintaining the continuity of the educational program of the school, parents assist in the monitoring of classes when a teacher is absent. This program is administered by the Assistant Principal/Curriculum Director.
The Annual "Street Scenes"
In February of each year, hundreds of parents, alumni and friends of Carmel Catholic, host three nights of entertainment which include show rooms, lounges, prizes, and several restaurants. Through the generous efforts of our students, their parents and Carmel Alumni, "Street Scenes" contributes over $300,000 to educational endeavors at Carmel.
