Ways to Give

Join Us in a Culture of Giving

Carmel Catholic High School, like most private Catholic schools, relies heavily on the support of our alumni, parents and friends to help ensure the mission of the school and allow all of our students the exemplary education that we provide. Thank YOU for making a difference in the life of a Carmel Catholic student!

Double Your Donation – Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match most charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, contact your employer for instructions on how to request the match. The impact of your gift to Carmel Catholic High School may be doubled or possibly tripled. Some companies will also match gifts made by spouses of their employees, and/or retirees.

Areas to Support

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Carmel Catholic education and we turn to our entire community for involvement and support in keeping a Carmel education accessible to all families who value Catholic education.

The actual cost per student to attend Carmel is $1,500 more than the cost of education charged. Thanks to donations to the Carmel Catholic Fund, every Carmel student receives the benefit of this reduction to tuition – a virtual scholarship.

The Carmel Catholic Fund is the bedrock of all our fundraising efforts:

  • Keeps tuition as affordable as possible
  • Gives our students new engineering, broadcast, science and business classes
  • Helps support programs fundamental to our Catholic mission
  • Retains highly skilled teachers through better salaries and continuing education

Students needing tuition assistance come from all parts of the three-county area attending Carmel Catholic High School. As the primary Catholic high school in Lake County, Carmel has a responsibility to provide an unrivaled education to as many students as possible, regardless of a family’s financial standing.

Each year Carmel receives an increasing number of financial aid applications. Despite more than 25% of Carmel Catholic’s students annually receiving need-based financial aid, the unmet need continues to grow. Too many students decide against Carmel due to financial reasons. We must remain competitive and diverse, and expand our capacity to welcome students whose families would otherwise be unable to afford a Carmel education.

Carmel Catholic scholarships, which can cover all or part of annual tuition costs for a student, give benefactors an opportunity to have a significant impact on the lives of our Corsairs.

Carmel Society members are foundational supporters of Carmel Catholic High School, providing funding for scholarships, curriculum enhancements, student life, facilities improvements and more. Carmel Society members are leadership donors of $1,000 or more who are deeply committed to our mission, purpose and goals.

For nearly 60 years, our alumni continue to be involved in the life of the school as generous supporters, parents (and grandparents), faculty/staff, and volunteer leaders. We deeply appreciate all that our Corsair alumni do in support of today’s Corsairs.

Each year we celebrate the classes with a five-year anniversary from five years and beyond! Donations to the Carmel Catholic Fund by members of these classes will be recognized individually and as a “class gift” in support of the school during their reunion year.
