Study and Serve Abroad

School-Year Trips
Exciting and enriching travel abroad opportunities are offered to students throughout the school year. These week long STEM-related or service-oriented trips have included Iceland, with future trips to Italy and Ecuador currently being planned.

Summer Abroad
Each summer, Carmel Catholic provides travel and study opportunities to its students to countries that have included Spain, France, Costa Rica, Morocco and more. Carmel Catholic partners with International Studies Abroad (ISA)/Worldstrides to offer these opportunities to our students and faculty.

Students participate in language and cultural classes throughout their trip and receive a transcript and college credit. Some students traveling on select trips will also complete a service project. There is one Carmel Catholic teacher for every nine students that attend. These trips are not sponsored by Carmel Catholic High School, but rather by ISA/Worldstrides. This means that Carmel Catholic teachers are an extra layer of comfort for students and parents on top of what ISA/Worldstrides already provides (a full-time staff of professionals who work to ensure a safe and enriching experience for students).
