In an effort to expedite the lunch line, Carmel Catholic High School has introduced a cashless paying system in the cafeteria. Many parents already have enrolled their student(s) in the program by logging onto www.mynutrikids.com and entering their child’s 8-digit student ID. Carmel Catholic students enrolled in the program will use their student ID cards for the Nutrikids point-of-sale program.
The students will receive temporary ID cards on the first day of school so they can access their online cafeteria accounts to purchase lunch on the first days of school, August 17 and 18. Once their official student ID picture is taken and the permanent ID cards are created, they will receive these cards at school for use during the school year.
Students who forget their ID card can still use the cashless system in the cafeteria simply by remembering the last 3 digits of the students ID set-up number (ex. 11114652 would be 652). When purchasing their lunch, the cashier will match the student with their picture in the Nutrikids database to ensure it is their account. The 3-digit code can be used from memory all year, or the student can swipe their Student ID badge through the barcode scanner. |
